ACMA's SMS Sender ID Register is a national anti-scam measure that verifies the brand names ("sender IDs") shown on text messages, so scammers can't impersonate legitimate businesses. If you send branded SMS to Australian numbers, you need to register your sender ID — and we can do this for you.

You'll provide your business details and an authorised contact; we lodge the application; ACMA emails your representative to confirm it.
From 1 July 2026, unregistered sender IDs will be labelled "Unverified" and may be blocked. Registering avoids this. You can learn more here.
